I am in Dallas/TX and just got a quote from Toyota of Dallas for 2007 Camry CE with The Extra Mile Option Package A (Carpet Mat Set, keyless entry...) and tint window. Price they gave me is 19,999 and dealer told me that is $500 over invoice.

Replying to: rock2rocku (Mar 31, 2006 12:53 pm) Had a helluva time finding a base (no sunroof, etc)2006 Camry LE this week in a decent color (most dealers are completely out and only offering the 2007). The range quoted(after you include the rebate) was anywhere from 17,500-$18,500. Of course, once I went into several dealerships they started to play games and either didn't have anymore cars or tacked on more $$$$. In my experience, they ALL add in the CF option (floor mats and cargo net)...so taking into account the dwindling supply of 06's- some dealers were completely out, I jumped on the mid $17,000 number with the mats and net. Unfortunately in NY, we get royally screwed with taxes both large (8.625 to pay for those new stadiums!!!) and small (tire disposal tax- $12 And I had them do the dmv stuff, life's too short to deal with the DMV. |

| I purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry LE with leather, floor mats and pin stripe in NE Florida for $21,581 (Included the dreaded SE Toyota fee add on of $564 + $55 additional destination to this region)+ tax,tag & title. This price was about $600 over dealer invoice and no dealer administration fee (They usually charged $599.00). I did this deal just by walking in the dealership and did not get a chance to solicit via the internet as I was pleased with the deal and they had the exact car I was looking for. It also helped that it was the end of the month. This new Camry looks even better in person. The 2007 Camry looks sportier and more luxurious than my 2002. Just my opinion though. | |

Replying to: davidong (Mar 31, 2006 11:36 am) My dealer told me many people are driving to the Chicago area to buy right now (from the region anyway). It seems like Toyota is giving some of those on the East coast really good deals- sucks for us but not bad in the long run. Good luck. |

Well, just purchased my new camry last night. Dealer claimed to give us $500 over invoice but I don't think their invoice was correct. Paid $26,950 OTD (this includes everything, includng tax since I am military).I'm sure it's not the best deal but I feel pretty good about it. What a car. I recently drove a 2006 G35 coupe, 2006 Hyundai Azera, 2003 Maxima GLE, and 2004 Acura TL. I know what you are saying, this is certainly no G35, that's right, but for an everyday car I don't think you can beat it; and it was $9,000 less than the G35, $2,000 less than the Azera, and $1,000 less than the TL (w/40,000 miles). I am not joking here, but after listening to the other Factory stereos I think this one is the best. The TL does sound nice with a 5.1 DVD but otherwise it lacks fullness. The JBL system is topnotch in my humble opinion (440 WATTS!!, need I say more). I am very pleased with the Camry, I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. Of all the cars I looked at it had the most WOW effect at first glance; the body has a hint of Lexus IS 250 and the interior could easily be mistaken for a ES 330. Great forum, wish I had read before last night and perhaps could have gotten a few more dollars off. Sorry for the long post.

Does anyone have experience with a dealer in northern California that specializes in selling to individuals that want to order a Camry custom made from the factory? Although it means a wait of a couple months, I prefer going that way since the exact features of interest may be ordered, and at an excellent price. |
