How available is XM, really? Do dealers stock the cars with factory-installed XM radio?   Playing around with the configurator of a Camry SE 4 cylinder on Carsdirect.com, I noticed that when you select XM radio, some other options become not available at the same time. For instance, you cannot order XM and the subwoofer at the same time. You cannot order XM radio plus cargo net at the same time???!! You cannot order the SE Premium Package with leather seats with XM radio.   What is this about?   Can you get an SE V6 with navigation and XM at the same time?

Replying to: pp03 (Apr 02, 2005 4:06 pm) I know you're asking for the price of an '05, but I bought this car in '04 and paid 22,800. thats before taxes and fees. this was in north jersey. Its the SE model, V6 3.3L, Moonroof, in dash cd changer, camry floor mats..   hope that helps.

The extended warranty is a great deal at that price. It is so nice to have an extended warranty (as your car gets older- that's when things start going wrong anyway). We've been quoted lots higher than that.

Need to know if I am getting a good deal or not really urgently:   Details: Invoice price according to dealer: $18820 Tax: 1129.20 Documentation: 195.75 Registration: 222 Tyre fee: 7.50 -------------------------------------------------------------- Total: 20374.45 Toyota rebate: -750 ------------------- I need to pay: $19624.45   I am not taking a lease and need to make a payment upfront. Is this a good offer?

Replying to: lmacmil (Apr 08, 2005 2:26 pm) Well it has the ABS, but yes no keyless entry, black mirrors and also standard has mini spare, no power driver seat. Also very few colors choices. Agree with lmacmil that no many people buy standard, the difference for me was coming to like $700.00 ( actually only $550 if you count the floor mats) between the two.

I purchased a new 2005 Camry SE 4-cylinder automatic with 16" alloys, spoiler, moonroof, fog lights and JBL 8-speaker combo for $18,963 + tax, title & license. I recently saw a sale around Chicagoland selling LE's with no extras for $15,995. There are deals out there if you can find them. I got mine at the very end of March, and the dealers were trying to pump up their sales quotas for the quarter. I'd say keep shopping!
