To the post regarding TX tax info - multiply the price the car is selling for (including destination fee) by 6.25 %. Add roughly $200 dollars to get the approximate out-the-door price you're gonna pay.

The big 3 cities will always have the lowest prices if you're willing to travel.

2005 Camry SE in Chicago Area by peanutsman

I recently purchased a new 2005 Camry SE 4-cylinder automatic with 16" alloys, spoiler, moonroof, fog lights and JBL 8-speaker combo.

$22,666.00 MSRP
$20,066.00 TMV Price

$18,963.00 (including $700 rebate) Plus Tax, Title and License

I almost purchased a loaded Mazda3 but I opted for the roominess, smoother ride, and reliability of the Camry SE. I think the extra money for the Camry SE was well worth it.

How to Buy a Camry with XM Radio? by 307web

How available is XM, really? Do dealers stock the cars with factory-installed XM radio?

Playing around with the configurator of a Camry SE 4 cylinder on Carsdirect.com, I noticed that when you select XM radio, some other options become not available at the same time.
For instance, you cannot order XM and the subwoofer at the same time.
You cannot order XM radio plus cargo net at the same time???!!
You cannot order the SE Premium Package with leather seats with XM radio.

What is this about?

Can you get an SE V6 with navigation and XM at the same time?

I don't know if this will help but I paid 28,000 for a 2005 XLE 6 cyl. w/ navigation OTD. This top of the line with leather, premium package and all the options you mentioned. I reside in Northern California.

This sounds like a great deal to us. What's the name of your dealership? Maybe we can get a similar deal. The extended warranty is a great deal at that price. It is so nice to have an extended warranty (as your car gets older- that's when things start going wrong anyway). We've been quoted lots higher than that.

Sorry I'm a bit ignorant but what exactly are the differences between the standard and LE models? I understand the Standard is slightly cheaper.

I am in the process of buying this from a NJ dealer in Hudson county. Need to know if I am getting a good deal or not really urgently:

Details:
Base price according to dealer: $18820
Tax: 1129.20
Documentation: 195.75
Registration: 222
Tyre fee: 7.50
--------------------------------------------------------------
Total: 20374.45
Toyota rebate: -750
-------------------
I need to pay: $19624.45

No lease. Payment upfront. Is this a good offer?

The standard is a real stripper: no ABS, no keyless entry, black mirrors, etc. Can't get alloy wheels, sunroof, V6. I don't think I've ever seen one. Even the rental cars are LEs.
