You might want to visit our topic called Advice on selling your car. A lot of sales professionals hang out there, and can give you advice on the best way to get rid of your car and maximizing whatever $$ you can get out of it.

Sandy Springs Toyota dealer in Atlanta is the worst dealer I have seen!!! by azhua

I gave them my price to them for camery LE.At first they did not agree. But they called me at the end of March to tell me to pick the car at that price because they need to sell enough cars in that month. When I went there they refused to gave me that price, and cheated me to buy Camery basic with that price. You know why?Because they already sold enough cars before I arrived.
I was so angry because they played in this way.You know I called them before I drove to there place. They said:' come on to pick up your camery LE'.But they changed the decision in 1 hour(my dirving time).
Sandy Springs is most unhumanity dealer I have seen. You guys if do not want to be cheated by other people.Do not believe them at any time!!!

2005 Camry XLE - is $27,000 OTD a good deal? by buttercuprules

I need to evaluate an offer for $27K OTD on a 2005 Camry XLE (with premium plus package, VSC & side air package, heated seats and carpet floor/cargo mats).

This effectively represents $228 over Edmund's TMV. (I only included the invoice, options and destination charge from the dealer's offer for an apples to apples comparison). The total OTD offer represents roughly $1000 over an "agreed upon" invoice price (this car isn't on the lot - must be ordered, so there's no actual invoice. Just a near happy medium between the dealer's number and what I've reviewed in several reputable websites).

I guess I have two specific questions really. One, Is $1000 (roughly 4.5% of the agreed upon invoice price) appropriate? It's the top of the range I had in mind, so it feels high to me. Two, am I getting hosed on fees? Excluding sales tax (3% in NC), I'm looking at $635 Southeast Region Toyota "administrative" charges and roughly $500 in documentation, tags & licensing. Is it just me or does almost $1200 in fees seem high? (It's been six years since I've bought a car.)

I liked the salesman. Felt he was generally very straight with me and he's with a reputable local dealer. I'm just having trouble feeling like this is a good deal (i.e. the dealer's making up for a lower starting point on the back end with the fees).

I'd really appreciate any thoughts or feedback.
Thanks.

To the post regarding TX tax info - multiply the price the car is selling for (including destination fee) by 6.25 %. Add roughly $200 dollars to get the approximate out-the-door price you're gonna pay.

The big 3 cities will always have the lowest prices if you're willing to travel.

2005 Camry SE in Chicago Area by peanutsman

I recently purchased a new 2005 Camry SE 4-cylinder automatic with 16" alloys, spoiler, moonroof, fog lights and JBL 8-speaker combo.

$22,666.00 MSRP
$20,066.00 TMV Price

$18,963.00 (including $700 rebate) Plus Tax, Title and License

I almost purchased a loaded Mazda3 but I opted for the roominess, smoother ride, and reliability of the Camry SE. I think the extra money for the Camry SE was well worth it.

How to Buy a Camry with XM Radio? by 307web

How available is XM, really? Do dealers stock the cars with factory-installed XM radio?

Playing around with the configurator of a Camry SE 4 cylinder on Carsdirect.com, I noticed that when you select XM radio, some other options become not available at the same time.
For instance, you cannot order XM and the subwoofer at the same time.
You cannot order XM radio plus cargo net at the same time???!!
You cannot order the SE Premium Package with leather seats with XM radio.

What is this about?

Can you get an SE V6 with navigation and XM at the same time?

I don't know if this will help but I paid 28,000 for a 2005 XLE 6 cyl. w/ navigation OTD. This top of the line with leather, premium package and all the options you mentioned. I reside in Northern California.

I know you're asking for the price of an '05, but I bought this car in '04 and paid 22,800. thats before taxes and fees. this was in north jersey. Its the SE model, V6 3.3L, Moonroof, in dash cd changer, camry floor mats..

hope that helps.
