| Southeast Toyota Distributors, Inc. is an independent, family-owned company that buys cars from Toyota and sells them to the Toyota dealers in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. They set their own invoice prices for the cars, which are sometimes different from Toyota's national prices, especially for delivery and options. They also set the consumer rebate amount for the southeast region. There is a similar arrangement in the Gulf Coast region. Kelly Blue Book (www.kbb.com) attempts to show these different regional invoice prices, although they are not always correct. | |

The Toyogaurd is $699 MSRP and they say they have no "play" with that figure so I don't know what invoice was - maybe 400 +/-(?). I paid right under $25,000 before taxes & before finance charges. I'm financing only $20,000 for 60 month at 2.9 (which by the way they don't offer on the XLE - only the LE - but they dealer can "buy down" the rate) and the interest I will have paid at the end of 5 years is about $1500. So all in - at the end of the 5 year loan, I will have paid about $28,000. I think it's a good deal considering the Camry XLE V6 has more bells & whistles and luxury extras than my husbands Lexus ES 300 - which cost substantially more. Good luck!!!

It looks like cash rebates ended 2/28 in my (Chicago) area. Do the rebates only start at the beginning of a month, or could they start anytime i.e. would it be April 1 at the earliest for new rebates? Thanks.

| I am going to buy a 2005 Camry. I would like to know if any recent buyers test drove both a 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder? If so. how much difference did you notice in performance and power. I see the EPA for the 6 cyl. is only 20 MPG city and 28 MPG highway. The 4 cyl. has an EPA of 24 MPG and 34 MPG highway. The 6 cyl. in my 2000 Avalon gets better mileage than they estimate for the 6 cyl. Camry. What are owners of the 2005 Camry getting? | |

Hi there, I'm looking to buy a Camry LE with automatic transmission. What do you think will be a good price ? Right now the best quote I have got is $17999.00 minus $750 factory rebate. Do you think this is a good price or I may be able to get something better. Thanks, Vivek |
