Greetings, everyone... I'm considering purchasing a Camry SE, 4-cyl manual. I live in western PA, and have gotten two quotes from two dealers in the area. I feel that both are way too high, but there is only one SE with manual in Western PA. Sticker on it was $21815, which includes spoiler, alloys and floormats. The dealer that had that one SE manual quoted me 200 under sticker. The other quoted me $20,800. I'm not in the position where I need a new car, but I like the SE. I will not buy the car at either of these prices and can live without it if this is what I'd have to pay. I'd like to be in the low 19's with the rebate. Am I being unreasonable? What would be a fair price? Does the current $750 rebate apply to leases, or are there any other incentives I'm missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance... |

With $90 doc fee and $200 DMV fee. The dealer refused to low down a penny. Is this good enough? Thanks,

Hi, Test drove the Camry LE this weekend and am now getting various quotes. Without airbags, the best quote i received was for $17,424 (after $750 rebate). I've asked them for a new quote for curtain Airbags and have been given $18,042 (after $1000 rebate) for a Camry LE with A/B and mats. Does this sound like a good deal to you? They're now trying to sell me anti theft system (without giving me a quote) but i haven't got back to them yet. I'm a little confused as to why they've offered me a $1000 rebate when everywhere else in CA is $750. Is this an error on their part or are there additional deals out there i'm not aware of? Can i cut a better deal do you think? I live in the East Bay area, CA. Have been offered a very good deal for an Accord LX (18080) but i do prefer the Camry to drive. Just wish they'd have more by way of standards. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

After pursuing a Camry on the Internet we received an acceptable quote from Precision Toyota in Tampa, Florida. Camry Standard Automatic for $16,759 before tax and license. My daughter confirmed the price and the day we would purchase the car. We brought the email confirmation with us. After driving the car we were presented paperwork substantially higher than the all in price we had confirmed. After multiple iterations, we were informed that the rebate had decreased by $250 and they would not honor the price. Our confirmation was dated 8:49 pm the day the rebate decreased. They repeatedly agreed that they should not have confirmed that price but were unwilling to honor it as they would not make enough money. After meeting with all levels of management the best they would do would be to give back $100 of the extra $250. Well, so much for my daughter's first car buying experience.
