I recently got a quote of $21,800 for a base model of the Camry SE V6. And eventually got a quote of $22,200 for the same model + side and curtain airbags as an option (priced at about $600 to add to a base model as an option). This price is after a rebate of $750 as well.

You asked about my bad experience with Sandy Springs Toyota in Atlanta. Unlike 8 other Atlanta dealers, Sandy Springs would not give me a quote on the Camry I wanted, which was scheduled to be built in 3 weeks, and kept sending emails asking what I wanted to pay. A salesman then called me and said that he had instructed Toyota to deliver that particular car to Sandy Springs Toyota, that no other dealer could now get it, that I would have to buy the car from them, and that he and I should negotiate a price. That was not a true statement; Stone Mountain Toyota (my low bidder) told me that Sandy Springs had never ordered the car, and Stone Mountain had no problem getting the car delivered to them from Toyota.

Why invoice price much lower at autos.msn.com? by ming

For camry LE, the price is $17133 at http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/pricing.aspx?modelid=11324&trimid=-1&src=VIP&tab=1&sub=-1.
Both KBB and Edmunds give $17876.
I am going to make a buyer's offer. Shall I use the MSN price?
Thanks,
Ming

Beware of trying to buy from Classic Toyota in Mentor, Ohio. If you have a trade in they will insult you. Their prices are high, you can find a better deal elsewhere.

I just purchased last week with the following options:
DJ-JBL System
SR-Sunroof
GU-VSC and Side & Curtain Airbags
CF-Carpeted Floor Mats

MSRP: $25,596.00
Paid: $21,518.00 after $700.00 rebate.
I negotiated everything over the internet. Showed up at the dealer and an hour later was driving home...

Price paid for XLE 4Cyl in Northern CA by a_driver

My wife and I just purchased a 2005 XLE from Steven's Creek Toyota in Santa Clara. We paid $20,050 ($20,800 - $750 rebate) for a 4 Cyl XLE with airbags, floor mats, and aluminum wheels. The sales guy was professional and not at all pushy. He let us walk out the door once, but immediately called us back and said they'd agree to our price before we were 10 steps out the door. Overall it was a very pleasant buy experience.

The 17133 price is for a manual transmission. The 17876 is for an automatic.

STANDARD SIDE AIRBAGS FOR CAMRY by peterpan

If Toyota is really smart and actually cares about its customers' preferences, it should put side air bags as standard feature in all Camry, PRONTO.

Otherwise all Toyota's potential customers will be buying Accords with standard side airbags.

Could you tell me where did you get the price of $15977 for a Camry STD Auto? I got an offer from L.A. today. It's 17188 before 750 rebate. Thanks a lot.
