The dealer is right. Toyota is offering either the rebate or the financing. Not both together. The incentives are direct to you. The dealer doesn't get anything regardless of which you choose. I'd suggest taking the rebate. You can find loans in the 3.5 to 4.2 range if you have A credit.

There are calculators here at Edmunds that allow you see which option is better for you. Just go to New cars and click on financing and you will find them.

Hi,

Could you pl E-Mail / FAX the Invoice so that I will negotiate with my local dealer in Kentucky. That would be a great help

You sound like a candidate for a car-buying service, such as carsdirect.com. If you belong to Costco, their service is also good.

You could also go here to Edmunds' new car section and email several dealers in your area who should respond with their best offers. Most of the time you will get at least one good quote by this method.

Good luck!

Excellent price -- congratulations! Can you share a few details, such as: the dealer's name?, how you got that price? (internet quote, walked in and made offer, dealer advertised one at that price, or..?). How many miles on the car? Another writer in this forum got the same price in Oxnard and you both did very well. I'm sure others would like to learn more about your experience. Thanks.

O miles on car, brand new. Went through internet fleet dept. of local dealership. Rather not say dealer name, because did not have great experience (phone quote did not match inventory avail, had to haggle to get orig. quote), but will say Mossy Toyota in San Diego is advertising all 2005s at $3K off MSRP, so they are $17.6K, if you haggle with another dealer they might beat the price. Don't walk in and pay retail, call or email the internet/ fleet dept. of your local dealer. Good luck!

I suspect you traded in a car, because that price you stated is too far below invoice. Although, 05 Camry's do have a $750 rebate until the end of the month, your price is very hard to believe. Please break down your entire deal, so we can see what you paid.
