| Jeff88, just wondering. How do you feel about a 2003 Nav with the power folding mirrors for the same price as the 04 EB? With the ued Nav you would get the same three years (the 03 Nav had 4 years, presumably one is now gone) of warranty, better interior, cleaner exterior, the correct mirrors, much less depreciation going forward because the big hit has already happened, etc. | |
|
hadn't thought about that. have to say I'm not a real fan of the looks & isn't the 3rd row smaller on the Nav? We already ordered the expedition and are awaiting confirmation of arrival date. Good suggestion, though. |

| I was wondering if anyone in the Chicago area can point me in the right direction for a dealer who is dealing on the 2004 expeditions. I would appreciate the help. | |

I've been quoted a price of $41,633.82 on an order for a 2004 (Fire Red) EB - 4x4 with - Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package - Rear Seat Entertainment DVD w/Wireless Headphones - AdvanceTrac® w/Non-Limited Slip Axle & Message Center - 1st & 2nd Row Safety Canopy™ w/Rollover Sensing - 2nd Row Captain's Chairs - Climate Controlled Heated and Cooled Seats w/Power Passenger Seat and Power Rear Quarter Vent Windows - 3rd Row PowerFold™ Seats This is an out-the-door price and includes sales tax (6% in MI) and fees. This figure is a hair under what Edmunds TMV pricing comes out to. Most of the other dealerships I checked on price were $1000-$2000 more than the one I am probably going to buy from. |

| I just bought a 2004 EB Expedition for 10K off MSRP 40,360-10,000=30,360 + TTL this was after $4000 in rebates which included the FMCC rebate of $1000. This was 3-4 weeks ago. I have seen one dealer advertising EB's for $11K off this is in the DFW area. | |

We'e picking up our '04 eb tonight that is optioned just like yours except it does not have the power fold 3rd row or rear seat entertainment. it does have the moonroof and we also are paying $1000 forblack lincoln navigator mirrors to be mounted for the fold-flat capability. (narrow, 96" garage door openings.) our total/drve-off price w/ttl is 40,717 btw, if anyone is interested in brand new expedition mirrors in basic black, I have a pair... |

I was able to locate an X-Plan number and ended up with an all inclusive price of $40478.00 on an order from the factory (optioned as noted in my last post). I placed my money down today to start the process. It should be 6 to 8 weeks and I'll be driving it off. All in all I was happy with the price I got. X-Plan ended up saving me ~$1500 give or take. I am glad I was able to get a pin. In this process I did my homework and I've been researching this for some time so my expereince was good. Oh FYI - If you're looking for extended warranties. I've come to the conclusion in shopping ESP plans around that it is better to buy these online, at least in this area. Every dealership I've talked to wants MSRP for the plan I'm interested in (7 yr/100,000 mile - $0 deductable). |
