#937 of 3493 bumper to bumper scam

I have received "important notification"postcards and letters telling me that my warranty is expiring shortly (2003 Altima). The way they send ot to you makes it sounds like you are getting a recall notice. If you call, you get a really hard sell for extended warranty coverage. (As hard as those people that sell condos!) In my case, I bought extended 7 year coverage from my auto insurance company (has to be done within the first 12 months and under 11,000 miles.) My coverage cost me $24.00
I do not know how the original scammers were able to get hands on my name, address and Vin #. I suspect they obtained it from the dealer. When I spoke with them and asked if they were from Nissan, they said they were."
Beware of this outfit.

I got the exact same card on a car I purchased in 12/21 that has 1,575 miles on it! I've been with State Farm for 35 years, but they'd never heard of this--they are going to check on it and get back with me. Do you mind revealing who you have your insurance with? Thanks!

$24 for a 7-year warranty???
PLEASE, give more details. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
do you mean $24/mo? Or /year? Or is that the whole cost? what does it cover? who is it through? etc etc

2007 Altima SE V-6 with premium package. Out the door $29,644. They claim they sold it to me for $300 over invoice. Maybe true. a very nice car. Handles better than my '05 300c Hemi, and much better than my avalon and Camry did. Has lots of spunk too! Bose stereo is adequate but not superb. Now that I don't listen to as loud of music, I'll be able to get by. My '05 Avalon had the JBL synthesis system with sub-woofers, WOW! that was outstanding!

#942 of 3493 2.5 SL w/Connection Package
Apr 01, 2007 (3:57 am)
I just purchased (yesterday) 2007 Altima 2.5 S with SL and Connection Packages, ABS breaks, fog lights, mats, kick plates, sunroof wind deflector, emergency kit package. Basically everything except Spoiler and Navigation. Color is dark slate/charcoal leather. I paid $27000 including all fees, taxes and registration (My tax is 8.625% since I live on Long Island, NY). I've been searching for this car for over a month. I paid cash and there was no trade-in. If I took financing I'm sure I could even get a better deal. Anyway, if you're in New York area use my post as a reference to get a good deal. I bought this car at Lynnes Nissan in NJ. MSRP of this car is $27285, invoice is $25207. I only have been driven this car for 80 miles but so far it is very nice and smooth. If you still didn't buy a car, good luck to you!

#944 of 3493 Prices for Altima
Apr 03, 2007 (12:21 pm)
I have been looking around for altima 2.5 SL and the best price that I got was $27071 OTD. After reading all of these posts I think that I can do better. Does anyone have any suggestions or is this a fair price. This only with the SL package and does not include the spoiler or wind deflector.

I bought my 2.5SL FOR $24957.94 OTD and that included the spoiler, the floor mats and mud guards. I KNOW you can get a better deal!!!! This is from Michigan where cars are selling slow so that might be part of the reason for my price. Anyway, got 1800 miles on it and not one problem. The car is fantastic and is great to drive!
