I was going to lease a 2007 Altima 3.5SE, but the monthly payments were ridiculous. I finally purchased one with the Technology Package. MSRP $32,715 Invoice $29,833 Paid $29,833 I think it's a great deal. And I guess, that's what counts. Oh, yeah, it was Pinnacle Nissan in Scottsdale, AZ.

Replying to: vkoppu (Dec 25, 2006 12:11 am) I went to buy one and since I am quite picky and wanted the brilliant silver 3.5 with the SL package, but they could not find one. I ended up ordering one and pre-signing the paperwork. Not even sure when it's to arrive but I wait impatiently. I got it for 30K Supposedly around 300 over invoice price but we all know dealers can doctor invoice prices. I did some research but I could not find actual invoice price on this model anywhere.

The 2007 Altima (probably the 2.5SL) is currently at the top of my 'short list' as I plan on buying a new car in the next 2 months. MSRP is around $26.2K and the invoice $24.4. Competitors have various incentives (rebates, reduced interest rates), however, Nissan is offering nothing right now. Is anyone aware of any upcoming incentives on the Altima? Does history indicate anything coming after the 1st of the year? I'd wait to look at the hybrid, but at a 15 to 20 percent premium, the payback period is way too long for me. Thanks, Bill

As good as the 2.5 S looks, I"ll wait until Nissan finds/fixes all the typical first-year bugs in this new build. The statistics on 1st year models (like the 07 Altima) overwhelmingly support my decision (see Consumer Reports for details) Brian |
