The reason it was 9k under MSRP was because I got $4,500 for my clunker.

now i get it..the guy who got the call for 20,500 didn't really get it for 20,500. Once you add in his clunker price, he is up to 25,000 otd.

I am actually picking up my car tomorrow or Wednesday...2009 Altima 2.5 s with SL package, conv and conv plus, and connection package with mats and splash guards for 22,500 before tax, title, and license fees.

I should be out the door somewhere around 24,500 or so.

As to the poster that says he has no haggle price of 24,400 or whatever, all that means is that you are still buying the car for 500 OVER invoice because right now there is a 1500 rebate that goes directly to the customer

To get me down to 22,500, i had to be really aggressive and i haven't seen many others get that price as of late..

however, i did receive several offers in the 23,300-23,500 range, so you should defintely be trying to get that no haggle price down. after rebate, you should be paying no more than 23,500 in my opinion.

let me know if anyone is finding a better deal than 22,500....

Be careful when you go to the dealer. A lot of them will tell you one price and then they change it when it's actually time to buy. Plus the main thing is your monthly payments. They might give you a great otd price but screw you on the interest rate.
I did get $25,000 otd but my interest rate is 4.65% for 60 months or $383.58 on a loan of $20,500. Good luck and let me know what happens.

Wow professional poker. Cool!! Texas Hold'em? Vegas?

Hey just to give you a little more advice, they will try to sell you an extended warranty. They wanted me to pay $1,500 for a 6/72,000 and I got them to give me a 6/100,000 for $1,285. I looked online yesterday and saw that I could have gotten it for $780.00. I now have to go back to the dealer and have them sign a cancellation request. I talked to the finance guy and he is not to happy about it, but he did fax it to me and I have to go back to the dealer to have him sign it. Don't make the same mistake as me.

Good luvk,

I bought a loaded 2009 last month and declined the maintenance because I knew I could do better. Where did you see $780.00 price? Thank you.

Hi JD

Hope you are now a happy owner of your new Altima. Can you share the state and dealer name - send it to sush9295yahoo.com. Thanks !

I am looking at the exact same car in NJ and am also thinking of going for the U01 Tech Package and possibly the spoiler as well ($1735 + $295). It seems that you got a discount of$1285 after the edmunds TMV and the Nissan discount of $1500.

I am thinking of pushing for $24000 for the same config as yours + Tech Package and Spoiler...

Did you check sites such as truecar.com.

Thanks again,

RJ
