I just bought the same car last week. My MSRP was $27,420. I have Navy Blue/Charcoal leather. My out the door (amount to finance) would have been $20,558.36 but I bought an extended warranty 6/100,000 for $1,280 and 3/4 of the care package (paint/undercoat/rust) for $450, so my total was $22,012.36 and I got an interest rate of 4.65% and my payments are $411.88 for 60 months.
You can do better. Good luck!!!

Oh and I live in Lake County, IL. so my taxes were 7%

Hmmm...almost 9K off MSRP?

So, even if I can only get 7K off the base 2.5S, I would be able to get 1 for ~15K or less?

Hi, I am in Cook County and looking to get the same car, maybe the 3.5 SL with all the packages. Can you share the dealership information and salesperson if possible or PM me.

Was the first car you were looking for a 3.5 SL with all packages. So I can probably get about $23,500 for the car?

ok...I have a final and revised offer from the dealer..

2009 Altima 2.5 SL with conv and conv plus pkgs, SL pkg, and connection pkg, with mats and splash guards.

MSRP is 27,420
Inovice is 25,423

Final offer is for 22,500 all inclusive except for taxes and title/doc fees.

Unless a bunch of people tell me in the next 48 hours not to do this deal, I will be the proud owner of a new car. Opinions? Is this a good deal? It seems like it compared to what the other dealerships where quoting.

Hey Grubber56 how did you find out what the invoice price was for an MSRP of $27,420? My wife can get $1,000 under invoice through a preferred dealer. The company that she works for worked out a no haggle price with Rosen Nissan which is $1,000 under invoice $24,423.00

Thanks for your help.

The reason it was 9k under MSRP was because I got $4,500 for my clunker.

now i get it..the guy who got the call for 20,500 didn't really get it for 20,500. Once you add in his clunker price, he is up to 25,000 otd.

I am actually picking up my car tomorrow or Wednesday...2009 Altima 2.5 s with SL package, conv and conv plus, and connection package with mats and splash guards for 22,500 before tax, title, and license fees.

I should be out the door somewhere around 24,500 or so.

As to the poster that says he has no haggle price of 24,400 or whatever, all that means is that you are still buying the car for 500 OVER invoice because right now there is a 1500 rebate that goes directly to the customer

To get me down to 22,500, i had to be really aggressive and i haven't seen many others get that price as of late..

however, i did receive several offers in the 23,300-23,500 range, so you should defintely be trying to get that no haggle price down. after rebate, you should be paying no more than 23,500 in my opinion.

let me know if anyone is finding a better deal than 22,500....

Be careful when you go to the dealer. A lot of them will tell you one price and then they change it when it's actually time to buy. Plus the main thing is your monthly payments. They might give you a great otd price but screw you on the interest rate.
I did get $25,000 otd but my interest rate is 4.65% for 60 months or $383.58 on a loan of $20,500. Good luck and let me know what happens.

Wow professional poker. Cool!! Texas Hold'em? Vegas?

Hey just to give you a little more advice, they will try to sell you an extended warranty. They wanted me to pay $1,500 for a 6/72,000 and I got them to give me a 6/100,000 for $1,285. I looked online yesterday and saw that I could have gotten it for $780.00. I now have to go back to the dealer and have them sign a cancellation request. I talked to the finance guy and he is not to happy about it, but he did fax it to me and I have to go back to the dealer to have him sign it. Don't make the same mistake as me.

Good luvk,

Dennis
