Thanks, I know my numbers and have tried negotiating online and in person. I haven't been able to get the dealer to go more than a couple hundred under invoice before rebates.

Completed my deal today.

took delivery of a Precision Grey/Frost 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5S with:
Convenience Package
Splash Guards
Floor & Trunk Mats
MSRP of $22,565

Purchased it for $20,192.78 at Nissan of Rivergate in Madison, TN before taxes, title, and registration. I took the 1.9% APR financing for 36 months from Nissan in lieu of the $750 cash back.

Negotiation process was fine; once finished, transaction was smooth and fast. Dealer did not charge a document fee.

All in all, 1 very happy new Nissan Altima owner

I called into Universal Nissan today in LA
Got a price quote for a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5s with Conv. package for
$21,978 out the door. This includes the $750 rebate. This seems like a good deal, can anyone verify if this is a good deal?

Central NJ Purchase by geo05

Would like to share some info on a purchase in Central NJ that is hopefully helpful. After reading some earlier posts and what appear to be incredible deals, perhaps some contributors may be mixing up model info? For clarity, I have included details of included options.
Also, we only considered the 4-cyl models.
Overall, most dealers in this area were easy to deal with via e-mail. Price quotes came in within a few hundred dollars. As a general rule (for any model) based on the info that dealer holdback for Nissan is 2% (source: Edmunds), I figured a quote of ~2% below invoice (w/o other discounts) to be reasonable, considering that dealers also need to make some profit. I did not try to squeeze out the last dollar.
Here are the best price quotes I got:
2.5 S CVT+ Conv plus MSRP $24075, Inv $22349 Offer $21750*
(Options: F02, F10, L93, B10, A92 + Dest)
2.5 S SL + Connection MSRP $26675 Inv $24771 Offer $24150*
(Options G01, H01, A92, K92, L93, B10, P93+dest)
*Offer included a 5-y 2.99% finance option which is a good one for a '08 vehicle. It does not include an additional $750 available (2 Jan) for buyer financing or cash deals. Tax (7% NJ) Title ($265 NJ 4-y), doc fee ($129), tire tax ($7.50) extra.
The above (lowest) offers were from Pine Belt Nissan Keyport who have a huge inventory, and one can usually get ones choice of color etc. We have purchased previously and have good purchase and service experience with Pine Belt. E-mail me via member link if you need the (good) salesperson name (not allowed to post).
Also recommended are Sansone and Windsor Nissan. They came close and may match. Windsor also offers multiple brands (Chevy, Saturn, etc.).
Hope this helps.

I am looking to purchase a Nissan in the Washington, DC area. I would like the 2.5 SL model with the emergency kit, splash guards, and floor mats. Could anyone tell me what price I should ask for if the MSRP price is $25,505? (Also, I am a recent College Graduate)

BTW, I know I may sound a little to eager but I am interested in purchasing at the end of February.

There is a 1000 rebate in my area right now(ny) so I'll assume you get the same. Grad gets you another 500. So if you are not Financing or Leasing through NMAC you should offer 21000.... And pay no more than 22000 in my opinion.
Good luck!

Grad cash requires financing through NMAC.
