If he was really selling at his lowest cost, it would have sold 2-3 months ago. He needs to be selling it at 3-4K under invoice to really move it, since it's only 5-6 months until the new models come out(and at TWO model years old, he's effectively got a toad on his hands he has to auction for used prices) Offer him 20K. Point out that it's a year and a half old and the 2008s are coming out in 5-6 months(though wait until March 1 - it'll be hurting his bottom like just that much more. Also point out that so few miles meant it sat and sitting for a year isn't good for anytihng - it probably will need a new battery much sooner and of course, new gas and fluids and such. My take is - either you steal it or you just wait 5-6 months. |

| How does one change out the rx8 fog lights? Does the whole front cowl come off, or can they be accessed from a different spot. I am a rookie and need some help. | |

You really need to take it to the local shop and get them to put it up on an alignment rack(easier than crawling under it) - and you can get an oil change at the same time Gotta come in from behind the grille/cowling, like most cars. |

A local dealer still has two '06's on the lot. Both are AT's (yeah I know but my preference for MT is only slight). The one that caught my eye was a gorgeous Shinka edition in Black. Carsdirect target price comes out at $27.1k for this with the 1k Mazda financing and the standard 3k rebate. What do you think I could be getting this baby for, out the door?

A 2006? That's going to be two years old next fall. I'd pass on it and get a 2007 with the sport package. Not a huge amount of difference between the 2006 and a new 2007, since they made the packages/trim levels more unified.(kind of how Honda does - less options, but a bit more in each level that you pay for) Manual without a doubt is the way to go. |
