To remove blade, lift wiper arm to clear glass and rotate blade to right and remove. My local dealer had blade refills, no problem! Check your manuel, has this info.

Ok, I just looked in a PDF version of the manual and it is there. I'll check the one in my car again, but there is a possibility that the little ones who ride in my car have lost some pages

Thanks!

Hey, slickdog: this works but the trick was posted to me in another forum by ramiLP, "yes, you have to remove the cover on the bottom of the wiper, the one that covers the bolt that holds the wiper arm to the wiper motor, you just flex the end of it and it where the wiper arm pivot point is and it will pop up, then you will be able to flex the wiper arm all the way out."

The attaching bolt cover can be flexed at the left or open end and then lifted off of the bolt, freeing the arm to pivot outward.

And uffdaole, it took me a couple of glances to recognize your name for what it is. How's Lena?

Thanks very much for all the info, when I get a chance I'll take a shot at it again but this time I won't need to be so worried about breaking something.

iPhone / iPod by nunavut

Just to let anyone curious know .. I have installed the Audiolink unit from therpmstore.com in a 2007 Mazda6 Wagon (non-bose unit). It was quite easy to do, and I took out the console myself, and routed the ipod connector cable through where the power socket (cigarette lighter) used to be. Works quite well with an ipod or iphone plugged in: you can control tracks and choose playlists directly from the steering wheel controls. With an iPhone, you can still receive calls (but you do have to unplug the unit to answer them). The Audiolink unit also charges the phone while its plugged in, so that's a bonus.

Has anyone tried Rain-X on the polycarbonate headlight covers? Or have another suggestion for cleaning them and preventing long term scratching? The vehicle is 2006 Mazda6 Wagon. Thanks.

I've had Rain-X on the headlights since Day One of owning my car. Four years, and 68K miles later, there are microscopic scratches caused by road debris, which I find typical with all cars, but no visible scratches or chips, and no discoloration or fogging of the polycarbonate.
