The only base model I compared was the BMW due to the price and the fact the 335i base model is already pretty loaded with *options since it is the top of the line 3-series (not including M). I never changed the price, look back at the posts. It is your own unappreciative outlook of Nissan that makes it inferior to BMW in such a way to be overjoyed at a comparo of a 335i and well equipped Z. A better kick in the pants for Nissan fans would be the many Z to M3 comparos, but since the dropping of the new 335i with a much more competitive price, this comparo is only natural. Read over the posts and look at how much you change stance on this subject. OH... don't forget your "done" with me

Advantages: Every inch the tyre-shredding muscle car. The 350Z provides barrel-loads of poke and a thrill-a-minute driving experience. Plenty of grunt from 283 hp V6.      Disadvantages: Strictly a two-seater where some rivals offer four, and boot space is compromised by suspension strut.      Verdict: Works brilliantly as coupe or convertible.   Information from: http://www.car-catalog.com/sports_cars/nissan_350z.htm   What do you think about this car? Does anyone know when the 2007 350Z will make it to the dealerships? It's more than half way into the first month of the new year, and there's still no information about the '07 Z on Nissan's website! Replying to: slices17 (Jan 21, 2007 10:26 pm) I just noticed carmax nissan in baltimore has a whole slew of them in now, all priced at invoice. http://www.carmax.com/dyn/newcar/newcar.aspx   Has anyone driven this car yet to make comments about the added power of the new motor and any other changes?? I think the "power bulge" hood looks a little goofy but I've only seen it in pictures, and besides it is probably necessary for the twin air intake system. Replying to: dat2 (Jan 28, 2007 7:33 pm) I just looked up one there real quick and it came back at $100 under invoice. Interesting that they would price them so aggressively right away. I guess they feel the minor changes aren't enough to drive sales up any from last year.   I can't confirm the invoice is accurate, however, since neither carsdirect nor edmunds has pricing for the '07s yet. Replying to: qbrozen (Jan 29, 2007 9:14 am) The invoice prices at least seem pretty close to what they were last year so it must be fairly accurate. I kinda wish I had waited now because the 07 updates are very appealing to me!! The only drawback is if you go on the nissannews site and look at the specs of the 07 model, the curb weight for the touring model is now up to 3400lbs! The original 03 model was "only" 3150lbs... Replying to: dat2 (Jan 29, 2007 6:44 pm) yeah, this car really didn't need more weight. It needed to drop a few.   I thought it was always over 3300, though. But, according to edmunds and msnautos, the '03 Touring was 3247. You may be thinking of the base model, which was 3188.
