2009 V6 SR5 Tacoma Double Cab Short Bed   MSRP: $25894 + TTL DZ 6 Disc Changer RL Running Lamps SL SR5 Extra value pckg   Dealer quoted: $23,368 +TTL   This is my first time buying a new car, ive bought a couple used locally. Need some car buying help.   My zip is 77505 for people willing to help. I see there is a $1500 rebate on toyota.com   When do the 2010's come out to see bigger rebates on 2009's?

My 1 owner 1989 worn out Caprice just became worth $3500. I worked a deal 6/25/09 for a 2009 taco reg cab, automatic, with cruse, drop hitch receiver, floor mats, bed mat, and running lights.  Drive off the lot price [including taxes title and tag] $12,109.  If you READ the law, the program goes into effect July 1st. However the truck is tucked away with a sold sign and my name on it. The truck has been equipted as stated before. Now the dealer says that he will knock another $250 off my price when we do the paperwork... I am now in a holding pattern hoping my Caprice will last another week or two.

In Orlando, Fl. 2009 Double Cab Tacoma. 6 disk back up camera Toyoguard Red/brown interior XM 2wd Auto V6 Sticker - $27,741 Lease Price - $22,610. This $500 below Cars Direct price. $2500 down $314/month for 48 months   I believe you can purchase a car doing everything via cell or email.Emailed 3 dealers in the Tampa area. Only one replied. Looked Saturday in Orlando. I went to one dealer, Toyota of Orlando, who refused to fax me invoice,sales price. Originally quoted me $389 for 48 months with $2500. The paper showed no other numbers even though I asked for more details. All of the Orlando dealers have few, if any, Tacoma"s on their lots. At most they had 3. I got this from Wesley Chapel Toyota which is 90 minutes from Orlando. In the time it took me to drive to Wesley Toyota we worked out a deal and they had the paperwork all prepared, truck cleaned ready when I arrived. I was in and out of the dealership in less than 1 hour. That's the way car buying should be done.   Good deal?
