| Well I just bought a new LX this afternoon. I had looked at a couple different cars. I like the Ford Fusion a lot, but the Sonata offered much more for the money. I traded in a 2002 Sonata and man I can not believe this is the same model. The 2006 model is beautiful. I paid 22,300 for the car minus the 3K in incentives, plus tax(1178) and dealer fees(380) so it was about 21K out the door. That included the slight loss on my '02 since I owed a little more than I got for it. I had almost bought one last week from another dealer but they only wanted to give me $2500 on the trade. I got $3400 today. And I did not take a big loss at all on the car so I was very happy. I already have a new loan so I plan to refinance soon. They did tell me I need to wait 3 months, but we will see. Overall I am very happy. I got the Dark Cinnamon nice color. | |

Replying to: mthielman (Nov 26, 2005 6:24 pm) Early this month I traded in a Sonata 2001 - 4 Cyl. Auto with 50K for $6,000. Refinance: "...so I plan to refinance soon. They did tell me I need to wait 3 months, but we will see...": Do not take their word for it ... Read your Financing Contract: if it is not written in there and/or signed something about waiting 3 months: they are telling you a bunch of b.s. If there is no pre-payment penalty stipulated in the Loan Contract; you can pay it off anytime you like!
