What is this discussion about?
Hyundai Sonata, Sedan
May 05, 2012 (12:03 pm)
Chicago suburbs (Gartner Hyundai)
2012 Sonata Turbo SE, Sparkling Ruby with black interior, carpeted floor mats, cargo net, and rear spoiler...
Sticker: $25,805 (MSRP before add-ons and delivery: $24,645)
Price before TTL: $22,649 (*included $500 rebate with Hyundai financing)
Price could have been $22,399 but could only find the red with rear spoiler - just paid extra $250 for spoiler, might have been able to negotiate but I'm a total wuss!
0% financing for 3 years
And agree with all the others who recommend going with the 2.0 turbo - love the extra power (originally I was thinking I'd only be happy with a V6, but no worries as I love the Sonata Turbo).

I thought this may help some folks as the posts were very helpful to me when purchasing a Sonata.
2012 SE 2.0T
Nav
Sunroof
floor mats
back bumper protector (already on;not my choice!)
mud guards
dealer added tinted windows
Sticker: $28,635
Price Paid: $25,802 after dealer fees - includes $1,000 in incentives
1.9% for 60 months
I'm pretty excited about this vehicle. I chose it over a 2012 2.5 Passat SEL w/nav and moonroof. The Sonata is much more exciting to drive than the Passat.
Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!

This may help. Stopped in dealer tonight and the said that there is only two left in the state(cars.com says otherwise, but information has the possibility of nothing correct). Anyway, your setup is the exact I am looking for...hopefully when they get back with availability, I can haggle some similar pricing.

Most dealers should be willing to dealer trade (with little or no cost) in order to source the vehicle for you as long as it is within a reasonable distance. Perhaps you can work with a couple of Hyundai dealers to see which one will work the hardest for your business!
Good luck with your purchase!

Great deal! Just curious if the $25,802 includes sales tax, etc?

Hi
Can you tell me if the $500 rebate for Hyundai financing is still available? i checked on Hyundai web-site and it does not show any rebate for financing.
Also, can you tell me the name of the sales agent at Gartner Hyundai. I live in Chicago as well so it will help.

Unfortunately, I still owe the government their piece of the pie! Where I live, we pay 7% sales tax! It did however, include the dealer doc fee. They wanted to charge me $399, however, I negotiated a lower vehicle price because I did not want to pay such a high fee.
Hopefully this helps you out. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
