Replying to: wb9696 (May 29, 2009 4:11 pm) He wound up buying a certified '05 Acura TSX with ~ 30 K miles for $15,000 plus tax, etc. Hyuindais don't have the best "trade-in" values but their trade values have improved. And don't forget the old used car game. Get top dollar for your trade and pay top dollar for the new car. Get a great deal on a new car and get wholesale or less on the trade in.

The Accord costs at least $7000 more and has a warranty seven years less. If you intend to hold the car there is nothing better out there than a Hyundai. Nothing. |

Does anyone have any buying experience with the SE? I really prefer the leather and alloy wheels. I am guessing $17,500 or perhaps a bit lower but want to hear what others have to say

The SE just doesn't fit in now... maybe they need to make the SE a future Sonata Hybrid Station Wagon? I'd have bought one of those in a heartbeat!

Rebate is back down to $2000 per an email I received from a dealer. $500 owner loyalty.

Replying to: mikebzt (Jun 02, 2009 11:49 am) For example, if you don't have a Hyundai, then you don't get the $500 owner loyalty rebate. Not a recent college grad? Good bye $400. Not in the military or married to someone in the military? $500. That's $1400 more than the quote. OTOH, if they took into consideration your rebates, and that's the price, not bad. Not bad at all. Good enough that I would have been all over that a few weeks back when I bought my GLS I4.
