About comparing Sonata to Camry and Accord: You don't have to be Einstein to know that Hyundai is not as good as both of them in terms of quality. The question is: Is the difference in quality worth about 7 to 8 grands? Yup: An equivalent Camry could be had for about 27 grands, whereas the Sonata was bought by me at 19.5 grands. (Read one of my earlier posts for the model that I bought). Hyundai serves a market. I am not looking to own a car for 20 years. I am very sure that within 20 years, everyone will be buying hybrids. The car technology is about to experience a generation shift. So to pay more for a Toyota or Honda because they will last a lifetime is not that smart a choice anyway. It's better to get the best with the least buck, and Hyundai is perfect for that. Oh yes, they do give you a 10 year powertrain warranty. So you are covered for 10 years at the very least. Please post something when you have some sane things to say. |
