I have an offer of $20,535 for a new, Sonata, 4cyl. Limited (wood grain, sun roof), including all rebates and fees. TTL would add about $1600. That means OTD price is $22,135. Is that a good deal?

That's a good deal, especailly if you don't qualify for the loyalty discount.

There may be some better deals out there, but if they are several hundred miles away....

Well, I took the plunge. I got the dealer here in the twin cities down to 19,850 plus TTL. So I now own the 4cyl limited. I went with cocoa metallic, with brown interior.

How is this deal? by vaterp

I'm looking at a v4 sonata in the N.VA area.

v4 21105 + 1040 (in what i call bs fees) + tax for an OTD of price 22321. With 0% financing.

With 'normal' financing it would be 1 thousand cheaper then that. (Kinda defeats the purpose to me of 0% financing as an incentive if you then charge more).

Also, they want an additaonl 1500 for NAV in the car.

This seems awfully high given what some people are posting about on here....

What do you all think ? Thanks!

VATerp:

The four cylinder isn't a V4, but an inline 4. That said, you might check these two places nearby for the best deals:

http://www.fairfaxhyundai.com/ou/fairfax-hyundai/

http://www.fitzmall.com/

I plan to hit them hard for a 4 cyl limited soon. Good luck.

Price seems a little high for a 4 cyl limited. In NJ Stateline the OTD w/o taxes would be approx:

4 cyl LTD w/o NAV=$20039 cash or $21039 financed
4 cyl LTD w NAV = $21176 cash or $22176 financed

No other accessories (like floor mats or cargo net) in above prices.

I hope this helps you, just bought new 09 above, Window sticker was 25,340.
I paid 18,700, 598 dealer fees, plus Tax and Tag. Total came to 20,200 OTD. You have to pay tax on the rebates. I went to Coconut Creek Hyundai in Broward Florida. I first went to Rick Case in Davie FL. They wanted $21,500 plus Tax tax and title and were not moving on the price. My price included a $2500 Hyundai rebate, and 2500 dollars dealer rebate at Coconut Creek Hyundai. They were all very nice. I negoiated the price over email with the internet sales dept. Do not pay more than 19,300 with dealer FEES anywhere. I love the car. Fun to drive. Nothing fancy but great transportation. the Infinity Stero is kind of weak but OK.
I did not take the zero percent financing. They have new car financing for 4.74 percent. Not to bad. To bad they put the cheap chinese tires on the new limited sonatas. Good Luck!!!!!!

Thanks for the tip, I am looking at the V6 with nave and not sure if I am going to need that power, is the price paid on 4-cyl or v6, I live in Philadelphia and cannot find any dealer that will come close to your deal, how did you negotiate that price???
