2009 Limited with Navigation 4 Cylinder Willow Gray (carpeted floor mats, cargo mat, cargo net) MSRP: $26,125 INVOICE: *$ Sale Price: $23,645.75 Sales Tax (8.75%) = $2,069 Sub total with tax= ($25,714.75) NY State Inspection: $10.00 Doc Fee: $45.00 Registration Amount: $67.75 Fee: $12.50 New Total Before Rebates: $25,850 Rebates: -$2,500 OTD: $23,350 ***not sure exactly how much under invoice I really got it for because i never asked to see the invoice, I worked the final deal over the phone, but the same vehicles invoice I saw at my local dealership was 24,900, so around $1500 under, but I see some invoices on this forum that are lower than that (and according to edmunds invoice is ($24,984) ** I ended up buying it from an upstate NY dealership in Syracuse area instead of going to NJ to save a few hundred maybe. Anyway I look at it I LOVE the car and thank everybody here for their great feedback and help along the way!

Replying to: ssjj (Nov 01, 2008 4:56 am) Because the manufacurer's MSRP is $19900 for the GLS PZEV 5A, no? While the GLS manual transmission MSRP is $18700. So wonder where the dealer got the 19500 from. Any ideas? |

Replying to: palok (Nov 01, 2008 11:29 am) When and where did you get this deal - in and around Jersey City NJ? with 7% tax? Was it Manual Transmission or Auto ? And was it a demo car or new car? |

We are thinking of getting a 2009 Sonata Limited 4 cyl., but I was reading they have a new aluminum engine this year. In the past alum. engines were prone to warping and oil leaking. Does anyone know if that issue was ever resolved or is it something to prevent purchase?
