Replying to: mtnman1 (Oct 24, 2008 10:36 am) If you really prefer the Azera (hoipefully it's a 2009, it has some tweaks including improved suspension), why not tell the Hyundai dealer that you can get the Fusion for $26,175, but if they can meet or beat that you'll get the Azera. You never know... $5k discounts are pretty common on Sonatas, so maybe they would do a little more off an Azera to move one here at the end of the month. Replying to: backy (Oct 24, 2008 1:25 pm) No it's a 2008. We never got down to numbers. They just stated that the rebate would be $3500 before we even work out a deal. Of course, the $26,715 was negotiated down to $24,447 and there was a $2500 rebate on the Fusion. So to get the Azera down to that ballpark would be quite a bit. I would have considered a Camry XLE V6 if I'm looking to spend what the Azera runs, but because I want to stay within a certain price I have to look at Ford and Hyundai Sonata. Plus I want the luxury items such as leather and Moon Roof. I'm spoiled since both my vehicles I currently own have leather. I don't know maybe they will call me and give me a number. The Sales Manager and the Salesman seemed desperate and disappointed when I told them the Sonata was out. I've been dealing with these people since July and they know me by first name as soon as they see me. Replying to: mtnman1 (Oct 24, 2008 1:50 pm) All Azera Limited have leather seats & moonroof.   Town Hyundai, in NJ, a bit far from you is offering '09's Azera at $3200 under invoice (including the $1000 rebate). Plus you'd qualify for the loyalty rebate of another $1,000.   So you could get an Azera Limited w/ Ultimate pkg and floor mats for $24,826 + TTL and doc fee. That's over $6400 below MSRP.   If you're interested in an Azera you could try using this info in negotiations with your local dealer. Though the interest rate is stupid high at 9.95%, it still is about $20 per month lower than if I took the 0% for 36 months with no rebates. I'm putting down $10,000 and financing for 36. Replying to: mtnman1 (Oct 25, 2008 6:11 am) If this seals it for you, you'd be better off taking their financing with a one year term or note to get their rebate then refinance with your local credit union for about 4.5% over 3 years. Frankly, you'd be better off buying elsewhere (Hyundai has very aggressive prices and quality products with better mileage/warranties/features) and looking at total out the door price both with and without their financing. If all you want to do is look at monthly payments, you need to go there with an adult friend who can occaisionally let you sniff their large cup of coffee. Kind of getting insulting there now aren't we? Don't appreciate it. I am considering all avenues in the financing area including writing a check for the entire amount. I'm 52 years old and a Marketing Analyst. I have a grand total of $6100 in total debt. Own my home totally and have a net worth of much much more than most people with the plan to retire at 60 years old. I certainly am an Adult. Please if you don't agree with someone's car purchase choice then don't act childish yourself by throwing out insults.

Fairfax Hyundai advertised price is very attractive. I called them today and they told me the document fee is $385 which is high but still a good deal when it comes to the OD price.
