Sorry, I don't know where I got $720 from. The title is really $15, which makes more sense.

I think this car doesn't seem to be selling well because I may have test driven the exact same one when I was just looking around about a month or so ago. It's the only manual transmission Sonata on the lot, so I'm not sure if that gives ME the bargaining power or the dealership because it's such a rare breed. I would much rather drive the manual transmission car, but want to make sure I can use that to my advantage regarding pricing.

Huntington didn't want to speak any further about the new car, nor the trade.

I did get offered $10,500 for the car on Friday from another Hyundai dealership with what appears to be a REALLY good deal on the new 2009. I should know in a day or so if this deal is going to happen.

I'm just waiting for the bait and switch at the last minute.

This would be an ok, but not great deal...without the extra crap in Cali.I got no crap from my dealer except a little push on the resistall package. Even the doc fee was extremely low, like $65. Etching does not cost $299. It probably costs like $25-50. I'd definitely have left this dealer, they sound terrible from everything you've said.

You got the best of Sonata series. Not the gas efficeinet but the powerful one. You would love the power of the car and everything. Now just enjoy the car and don't think about the price. You might find someone who bought the car for maybe $500 cheaper but so what? Just enjoy.

Thoughts on what should I offer for V6 Limited by impala2002

The invoice on the car was as follows:

MSRP $26,150, destination charge $695, mats $90 - Total $26935.

I noticed that somebody else mentioned that they paid $24,100 with blue tooth and navigation. Extrapolating for the add-ons, seems like I should expect to deal around $22.5. Thoughts? nphpd - you seem to know this stuff. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Tell me exactly what you want to buy with all the options and I will gladly help you. Also tell me which state you live and how much you pay for state TAX. Also tell me the color. White is $200 more. I give you a reasonable price that you should be able to get it. I won't give you a price that the dealers would run away from you.

Top 16K before tax. So with 6.25% tax you should pay not more than $17000. $15500 before tax would be a better deal. Don't give out your offer. Ask him to give the price first and then again ask him to give better price and tell him you have seen much better offers on line. Remember if you pay more than $16K before tax, you have been ripped off !!. 85% of the buyers get ripped off.!!!

And don't buy any extra insurance!!
