That could be almost any amount of money and is likely a few hundred to several hundred more dollars above the price he posted. If they don't post the doc fee amount up front and it is a state that doesn't limit or regulate doc fees, prices posted that exclude that fee are not meaningful. Sometimes sleazy dealers will also post prices in ads that don't included the destination charge.

Replying to: jaxs1 (Mar 12, 2008 8:00 am) Like I mentioned before, I negotiated a deal of $14,599 for the 08 Sonata GLS AT. No packages. I am probably buying the car today but I am first having the salesman give me the OTD price. Also, I took this price to my local dealer and they wouldn't touch it. They stood firm at the $14,995 price by claiming that they've sold 4 since Saturday so there is no shortage of buyers. I really feel this is a great deal on this car and we won't be seeing them on the lots much longer. |

| Ok, the deal I am accepting is a steel gray 08 Sonata GLS. No packages. OTD price is $16,295.21. This is the best deal I could find here in Northern California and I feel happy with it. | |

Replying to: davis22 (Mar 12, 2008 10:34 am) I contacted a dealership in Charleston, SC. The initial OTD offer they gave me is $17550. Now I am asking for $16300 OTD. Thank you Davis for sharing the information.
