Here is the deal I was quoted for a Sonata. This is in the Chicago area. GLS, 4 cyl. automatic w/ popular equipment pkg, floormats, cargo tray: $16,141 (roughly $17,500 OTD) Limited 4 cyl. automatic w/ sunroof, floormats, cargo net $19,288 (roughly $20,900 OTD) OTD prices are rough because she quoted me prices using 9% sales tax and as Michigan residents, we only have to pay 6%. So I recalculated myself the best I could using 6% tax. These prices seem to be about $850 below invoice. Thoughts? |

I am collecting quotes from various dealers, and the one I received today mentioned a $2500 rebate. Does anyone know if the rebate has been increased, or does this guy just not know what he's talking about?

Not all customers will qualify for all applicable rebates. Dealer installed option is additional. See dealer for details. All vehicles subject to prior sale. Some vehicles may be demos. I highlighted the interesting parts. Freight (i.e. Destination Charge) adds another $675. And it looks like they have included special incentives such as the student and military rebates. Then there's the part about demos. And I wonder which cars have dealer-installed options that aren't removable? Just proves the old adage to "read the fine print."
