I'm looking for a Sonata GLS and the local dealer emailed me a quote of $14,633 (+TT&L) for an '07 with an automatic, floor mats and a year of free oil changes. Seems like a great deal to me...cheaper than a Honda Fit. This is at Allen Samuels in Fort Worth, TX if anybody's curious. |

Replying to: geffen (Jul 10, 2007 7:23 pm) http://www.hyundaiusa.com/financing/specialoffers/special_offers.aspx There are no current special offers for first-time Hyundai buyers on the Sonata, unless you consider the college grad financing rebate or military rebate like that. There is a $500 loyalty rebate for current Hyundai owners on the 2008 Sonata (along with a general $500 rebate). Hyundai tends to go that route vs. specific first-time buyer rebates, although the Veracruz has a competitive rebate to draw owners of other SUVs. |

| We have a local Hyundia dealership that still has 8 2006 Sonatas. Would you even consider an 06, or should I just go for the 07, which are selling pretty cheap anyways. Most of them were GLS ,I4 , Sunroof. Stickered around 20,800-21,200. I haven't talked numbers at all with them, Just talked to a salesman that I know who said they were really wanting to get they out. | |

Just purchased an used 2006 Black Sonata for $11,700 from private party. This is a top of the line LX (Limited?) with leather seats, 17 inch wheel, heated seats, etc. Car is in great condition with 30,000 miles. I think I got a great deal on this. Opinions?

| Hi. I'm planning to purchase a 2007 GLS in Texas and considering a balloon financing option. For those of you who went to this route, was/is there any minimum requirement for a balloon financing--for instance, am I allowed to make a big down payment for a balloon financing? Thanks in advance for your help. | |

Hi. This is what I got from a dealer in Texas today. "For the last several months the HMFC balloon came with a $3500 rebate on the Sonata GLS, although this month you only get $2500 rebate on the balloon on any of the Sonata's." Is this really true? |
