I JUST bought a 2007 "Platinum Edition" Sonata. There was only one in the entire Fitzgerald Auto Mall inventory and they just got it in that day (only 13 miles). I also saw 3 LTD editions with a "delivery price" ranging from $19990 to $21500, but I impulsively went for the PE. The price was about $950 more than the fully equipped LTD (which also had over 350 test-driven miles!), but I was sold as soon as I saw the all-black leather interior -- the chrome moldings and rear spoiler was also a plus. I went with the 2.9%/$500 rebate in leiu of the $1500 rebate, so the total price out the door was $24,005. Here's the breakdown: $22,442 (delivered price) + $1500 (no rebate offer) - $500 (alternate rebate offer) - $500 (loyalty owner offer) - $369 ("Internet Price" discount) - $50 (Fitz coupon toward purchase of new car) + $1181 (5% sales tax) + $99 (Processing fee) + $202 (Tax & Title) Total = $24,005 I may not have gotten the best deal around, but I got to put zero down. And with only 2.9% APR, I'm gonna invest the $7,500 I had planned as my downpayment.

I'm pleased with the deal I got; bought the car yesterday from Fuccillo Hyundai in Canoga Park. They were the only dealer with exactly the color I wanted (black w/beige interior)and an excellent price. 2007 Sonata Limited w/Ultimate package price after rebate: $21,200 (less than Cars Direct quote) doc fee: $45 sales tax: $1,876 TTL: $220 total: $23,341 FYI: Fuccillo also has dealerships in NY PH in LA

I don't think that's true since there was no "black non-leather interior" in the brochure, but who knows. Anyways, I think the black interior is nice enough that they will add it to future trims/ exterior colors, perhaps the one that will come out later in 2007. I will try and post some pictures soon of the interior and exterior, for those who haven't seen it yet. You can judge for yourself if it's worth the extra dough/wait for the possibility it may come in different colors. I did like the Silver Blue exterior. The color looked the best IMO. |
