Bought an 06 GLS V6 through Carsdirect for 17300 +tax and etc, 2500 rebate applied. Ended up at 19200 with everything included. I probably could have gotten an even better deal negotiating on my own but I did not have the time to spend going from dealer to dealer and didn't want the stress. I never actually set foot at the dealer until it was time to pick up the buyers order paperwork to take to the bank. The Jim Ellis Hyundai Atlanta salesperson and the F&I manager were both excellent and easy to deal with, as was my loan officer at the bank. Nobody tried to upsell anything or make me pay for dealer prep stuff. I was stunned. I've had more sales pressure from salespeople at the big electronics stores. The car dealer was easy. The car itself is also excellent in every possible way, far better than I had ever expected.

Did a sunday shop at Brad Benson's after hearing ads on local radio. Found they were adding almost $3000 in dealer add-ons before discounts making the prices still good but not as low as one would think. About what I paid in november at same dealer, this is just a gimmick.

An incredible deal would be true invoice (price it here at Edmunds) minus the current cash incentive of $2500 or $3000, whatever it is now. But wait... there's more!. The Dealer will then attempt to add fees, all sorts of fees. If you can pick up the LX for Invoice, then subtract the rebate, pay no fees, and just add Sales tax & Registration, you have made a great deal. Good luck, and happy Honeymoon to you! |

Hey, I just purchased a 2006 Dark Cinnamon with beige interior Sonata LX pkg 3 (sunroof)and added tint, mudguards, trunk liner and cargo net for $20935. Is this a good deal? We went in to purchase the LX without the sunroof but there was none in the color we wanted in the entire Houston area. So, we were given the standard "What would it take to get you in this car tonight?" spill and told them we wanted "e pricing" and all the aftermarket add on's for free. We are in Houston, TX so I am not sure what the pricing is elsewhere.
