I'd get to that dealer ASAP, those prices are tremendous! Especially if you qualify for all the rebates.

Yes, that's what I thought. We bought a 2006 Elantra GLS sedan from this dealer on Christmas Eve, and got a great deal also. I normally don't finance cars, but I would take advantage of it to get the Hyundai Financing Rebate. Thanks for the feedback.

Would love to hear how this progresses. Mind saying where you are located? Ohio here

I'm looking at gls v6 and the first offer was 100 over invoice 19,231+ 600dest + 600 advert = 20,431 (+ttl and doc fees).

I did not think there was $1500 wiggle room off of their first offer.

skt2, did that include any rebates? Some dealers won't relay any rebate info to the customer unless they ask. You may actually be able to get a couple grand off that price w/ the current rebates.
FWIW, our GLS V6 came out to 19,700 after the rebates were subtracted and the TTL was added (so this was the "out the door" price) I'm guessing I could have got it down a bit more, but I'm still very happy w/ the overall deal.

I'm located in Illinois. The dealer which offered those prices is Pugi of Chicagoland in Downers Grove, IL, a SW suburb of Chicago. As stated, I purchased a 2006 Elantra from them on Christmas Eve, and couldn't be more pleased, either with the price I paid or the way I was treated from beginning to end.

One more thing . . . I just went through the numbers calculating Doc Fee, Electronic Registration Fee (one of that dealer's charges), Tax 6.75%, and License, the total "out the door" price after taking the full rebates on the 2006 Sonata GLS V6 is $17,402.02. This includes the $1,000 GLS V6 rebate, $1000 Hyundai Financing Rebate, and the $1000 Hyundai Loyalty Rebate ($20,402.02 after Doc and TTL, but before the $3K rebate total). I think this is an excellent price for a GLS V6.
