Hello, My name is Summer. I am making the really hard decision between a Montana SV6 or a Toyota Sienna XLE. I have just recently test driven the Montana and really loved it but am having some trouble with the lack of security for back seat riders which will be my 12 month son and three year old daughter. I have never considered a minivan up until this point and to tell you the truth the turning point was when I saw the new body style of the SV6 on my friends lot. He had it picked out for me before I even arrived. I always swore I would not drive a minivan or at least until I was much older (29 now) but they are looking really good! Their features are just too handy and family friendly. Since 1998 we have purchased (for me to drive) a Chrysler Sebring (before kids) Lincoln Navigator (before and after kid) Dodge Durango and now our Envoy. This is a big change for me! The decision as to which van to buy is ultimately up to me, since my husband has his own car to drive, so I will need lots of advice! I started my own business in 1999 (before we married) and after marriage moved to the town where my husband's job is located. I now travel 45 miles per day (total, approximately) and need a dependable and safe vehicle, my children travel with me so safety is important. My business is demanding and booming so staying home is no longer and option, in fact, I am now a corporation and my part is vital. Since my children travel with me to work everyday the SV6 posed a concern with the lack of safety features and that is the reason why I then looked into the Sienna. I only need a FWD (rarely drive on snow or ice) and a smooth drive, some of the roads to our acreage are a little bumpy. If you have any advice on these vans please let me know, I would appreciate it!

Wet weather causes faltering due to one or more plugs misfiring intermittently. This would appear to be a problem to be solved with a tube of silicon. Anyone know exactly where the 'Achilles Heel' is located - i.e, where splashing road water may be getting access to the ignition system. I (Paul) am new to the forum, so if this question should be posted elsewhere, please let me know - thanks.
