Has anyone installed this mirror in a 2008 EX-L as of yet?

If so, what was required and how did it go?

Hi could you let me know where you got your pricing from, love to have them on my new cr-v, but dealer wants $695.00. Thanks so much, this is my first time posting, so I hope its o.k.

$695 for side moldings? Wow! Are you sure they don't think you're asking about the plastic cladding that runs below the doors (not sure about correct name) or some other part? My dealer thought so at first.

I paid $175 including dealer installation, which was plenty. The dealer said the list price was $259. I got the lower price by going to the Honda web site and "building" a CR-V. The price listed under accessories was $175. The dealer swallowed hard, but honored it. I just looked it up now and the price is listed at $234. Not great, but a lot better than $695.

If you're willing to install them yourself, $167 I think is the price from some Honda website parts suppliers. Good luck.

Just turned 800 miles on the 2008 Royal blue ex-l awd, washed it this weekend and found some cretin had door dinged the rear pass side of my new ride. WATCH OUT for babies r' us parking lots!! not horrible, but enough for my obsessive self to notice. it is on the crease in the lower part of the door.

So this AM I ordered moldings from H and A for $171.60 plus shipping, and some touch up paint as babies r' us is in the foreseeable future. It looks like the moldings will cover up the ding, hopefully.

Honda really should include moldings on the car, especially considering the "urban warfare" plastic on the rocker panels and bumpers. but, for the prices my dealer was asking, they make $$ on the accessories.

iPOD adapter by tdiidman

I'm thinking about buying a new (2008) CR-V EX-L with navigation. Where precisely is the iPOD adapter jack so I can plug in my Apple iPOD and listen to my music through the car's stereo? The brochure says it's in the center console but the salesman told me that it somehow attaches through the upper (smaller) glove box. I didn't see a "jack" in either place. Any assistance that anyone who has actually done this can provide would be greatly appreciated. Does anything appear on the nav screen when the iPOD's music is being played?

In my '07 CR-V EX-L (w/o nav), the aux input jack is in center console compartment, on the front wall just to left of the accessory power socket. It's eaiser to feel than see. It works fine, although no info displays on the screen. The '08 or nav model may be different.

On an 08 EL-L/NAV the IPOD jack is in the center console next to the 2nd 12V aux. power socket. Both have spring-loaded flip-up covers. I haven't connected an IPOD so I don't know if anything shows on the audio screen...

Hi I just purchsed a 2008 CR-V EX 4WD and the jack for the ipod is inbetween the front seats on the console that flips down in between the seats. It has a flip up door to access it and there is another flip up door that is a charge port. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, I can't seem to find it now, but someone said they mounted them higher than what Honda states to mount them and they also posted pictures (they looked really good), was that you and if so could you give me the measurements? thanks
