I'm looking to buy a 08 Elentra tommorow and wanted to know if this is a good price. It's a blue 08 Elentra GLS w/ popular package and floormats for $17,200 OTD. This is without haggling with the dealer yet and it's with Michigan taxes and $180 documentation fee. What do you think would be a fair price to ask for? He's only got the one blue on on the lot so I'm def gonna buy it but want to get the best price.

And they are STILL giving the $2000 rebate. And another $500 on top of that if you already own a Hyundai. A loyalty credit. You prove what you have and Hyundai gives the loyalty credit.

Replying to: schukanuoslady (Oct 17, 2008 5:18 am) That would have to be a dealer-supported loyalty credit, not Hyundai, since there is no HMA loyalty rebate on the Elantra right now. Also, Suresky must be subsidizing half of the $2000 rebate they are offering, since the HMA rebate is only $1000. Of course, in the long run it doesn't matter as long as the buyer gets the money! |
