Replying to: changingtide (Oct 06, 2008 11:35 am) However, Towne is presntly offering Elantra GLS at $1500 under invoice (their invoice price includes destination and matches with the invoice price shown on Edmunds) and the standard $1,000 rebate. Edmunds lists the invoice for GLS with A/T and popular equip (without sunroof) and floor mats at $16,892. So Towne's price would be $14,493 plus doc fee (which is $189 unless it recently changed) plus registration and your state's sales tax. Check their web site and if interested call them to confirm prices. They are straight forward and will tell you all components of OTD price.

HI! I am about to purchase an 08 Elantra SE with Manual for 14,900. That does not include taxes or dealer fee of $300. Do you think this is a good deal? I did at first but I saw on Fairfax Hyundai that you can get a Sonata GLS Manual for about $13,250. Thanks for your help!

I'm looking to buy a 08 Elentra tommorow and wanted to know if this is a good price. It's a blue 08 Elentra GLS w/ popular package and floormats for $17,200 OTD. This is without haggling with the dealer yet and it's with Michigan taxes and $180 documentation fee. What do you think would be a fair price to ask for? He's only got the one blue on on the lot so I'm def gonna buy it but want to get the best price.
