Read this article. DO NOT BUY unless you get YOUR DEAL. I have a '03 Santa Fe [20K miles] and a 2000 Daewoo Leganza [50K mile]that I would trade/sell to get a '07 Tucson & Elantra but the SOB's only want to sell at the MSRP. I can wait until I run the 2 cars into the ground..Now read and don't let the CarStealers BS you that they're selling many cars...

MSRP? For an Elantra? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!! That's a good one! Best laugh I've had in a long time.

Try another dealer. There are dealers, like those in my area, discounting the Elantra now, plus you would qualify for at least $1500 in rebates on one now.

after having seen your attitude on these pages, i can see why they don't want your business. i'm not sure what part of the country you are in, but the dealers around you are not only selling at sticker (or maybe just to you, cause they want to be well paid for putting up with you).

Maybe, but it applied to the last two weeks of the month. I've seen HMA change incentives in mid-month before; they did it a few times last year also.

exactly, they started the incentives for presidents day weekend, then kept them through the end of the month. The last time i can think of something like this was when they increased the minivan rebate mid november last year for "extra holiday savings."

I'll bet remag can be very sweet at the dealership when he needs to, like when buying a car.
His post informed shoppers but was probably not intended as a discussion outline for dealership negotiations.
I hope, anyway.

Right remag?

You must either be a Car Dealer a/k/a CarStealer or one of "those" who pays MSRP. Have a nice day.
