Replying to: kaijad (May 23, 2006 9:34 pm) Thanks for all great tips and guidance. I finally got my 06 Elantra last Saturday. I got it for 13100 drive out! This includes all NJ state taxes, registration, documentation fees, etc. (after 1000 rebate). I also got floor mats, mud guards, and 4 oil changes. I think I got a good deal! Thanks again.

I think I've read almost every posts here and want to thank everyone for their great information. Just got back from getting my '06 GLS Elantra with AT, mudguards, mats, and a couple other extras for an OTD price of $13,250. Trade-in numbers might have skewed this a little bit. Purchased it at Fairfax(Virginia) Hyundai. I realize the '07s are on the horizon, but my old car('97 Explorer) wasn't going to make it another month without some repairs. I test drove a Nissan Sentra and didn't like that very much, it felt a little too cramped. Also looked at the Corolla, but the lowest I could get even a base CE with AT around here was $1,500 more than the Elantra. Add in power windows, locks, Side Airbags, etc... and it went WAY up from there. Thanks again, and hope to be around here more often.
