In some ways, I like the look of the vehicle without the roof rack. I also have the oak interior and captain's chairs. But is that a bottle of white wine in the driver's seatback? If so, nice touch and how kind you are to your passengers! Now all you need is a loaded picnic basket and you're set.

Nope, just an umbrella for another rainy day in Florida.
You also said: " I like the look of the vehicle without the roof rack."
Thanks. The CX comes without the cross bars, but all the rails are there to easily connect them. I like the way they look, so we just had them put on the day before yesterday. I'll probably post another pic as soon I get a chance to get another lake shot as good as the one above.
I'm surprised nobody commented on the "upgrade cloth seats" in your CX. I remember way back when, our heated discussion over the cloth inserts with the Buick logo. That discussion, in fact, resulted in Buick (Jack Bowen) making leather an available option in the CX.
I think your photo demonstrates that they look just fine! Not nearly as offensive as they appeared in Buick's promotional material.
P.S. I too thought you had a bottle of wine in the seat back...although I think a Merlot would better match your colour sceme.

Want to hear something funny? We actually had no idea the fabric design, on the cloth inserts, was the Buick logo when we purchased this vehicle. This is completely new brand for me, and my husband doesn't pay attention to stuff like that. We just thought it was attactive; we've also gotten lots of compliments on their appearance.
