From that location I would definitely say it's a drain plug. They are usually in low locations like the foot area to make drainage more complete. Should hopefully be an easy fix. Tony |

acromell, i posted something about this in the jeep liberty forum. i hope it gets your problem taken care of. |

| My nissan pickup developed a water leak at the passenger seat too. It turned out to be a clogged A/I drain. I duct taped my shop vac to the discharge tube (engine side of the fire wall) and cleared it out. No more problem | |

the drain plugs in the floor of the wrangler are there so you can wash out your interior with a garden hose (did that numerous times). I wouldn't recomend doing the garden hose thing to the liberty or any other normal SUV because the Wrangler has a water resistant interior. Odie |

Posted this on the Liberty Forum with no response, is this behavior normal or do I have a problem. The torque converter does not appear to lock up in overdrive on my 4WD Ltd. All the other gears are fine but on a flat road rpm at 50/55/60 mph seems to be a constant 2000 only when I lift does it fall. Has anyone else expirenced this is it normal. My old Grand seemed to lock in OD Thanks for any input David b |
