Replying to: farout (Jul 15, 2006 5:21 pm) The air conditioner is enabled when the floor heat is selected but not when "Floor and vent " is selected. In "Defrost " mode the A/C is reasonable but for winter heat on the floor , it makes no sense. Winter air is VERY dry so dehumidifying is not important. Fuel consumption is 5 to 10% poorer. The A/C button could make the choice as it does in Vent mode. The programmer must live in southern California and never travelled north. |

Just wondering if using 87 octane causes/allows pinging, or if 89 is prefered by most

I just got the Mopar EVS 1 alarm installed on my 06 Jeep Liberty. The settings seem to be far too sensitive for my needs....if you slam a door nearby the horn blasts once. If you kick a tire, the alarm goes off, with the horn blowing and the lights flashing. I followed the procedures to reduce the sensitivity of the sensor but it still seems way too sensitive. Anyone else have this problem? How was it resolved???? Thanks, Dave
