I'm a sucker for a black truck !!!!!!!!!
My 87,90,97,01,and 04 were all black too............

Except for my 94 Yukon which was Carmine (aka burgandy)

Does anyone know of the possible entry points for mice into the cab of a 2006 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax? I've caught six already but don't know where they might be coming in.

Hello everybody ....
I have a 2005 Silverado, Crew Cab, 2500 HD, 4WD. Due to the need to haul heavy weights, I intend to transform it into a Dually. Does anyone know of any readily available kit or of a way to do this modification? Thanks ahead ....

I have a 1994 GMC sierra K2500. The transmission went out and i need to replace it or rebuild it but I am not sure what one it is. It is an automatic with overdrive. The case has M30 stamped on it and there are 16 pan bolts. The only electrical connection on the transmission is on the passenger side and it is just 2 prongs that go in a big round connector. I belive it is a 4l60 but please tell me if I am right or not. Thank you for your time and I love this site.

16 bolts square pan is a THM-700-R4 (4L60-4L60E)
The M30 indicates that the vehicle is equipped with a 4L60-E automatic transmission.
17 bolts with a square end on the front and rounded on the rear is 4L80E

transmission shift problems by shopwood

My automatic four speed transmission downshifts from fourth to third gear at highway speeds and will not return to fourth for some reason. The problems may be related but when kicked down at lower speeds the trans will not gear down unless manually done.I suspect a kickdown selenoid or other electrical problems but I'm not sure.Autoparts sellers list my vehicle has a 4--- type tranny but I was under the impression it was the 700.Any info on how to determine my transmission type or advice on possible solutions would be greatly apprieciated. My truck is a 2000 c/k 2500HD old body style.
