We had a guy come put a clear bra on the hood after we brought the car home.   The car is still very tight with the occasional rattle, but not enough or often enough to make me unhappy.   We see between 19-24mpg with the car. Enjoy your G35X!   I've seen the clear bra on the Lexus IS and it looks pretty seamless. I'm guessing yours is basically the same on the G35?   Thanks for the gas mileage info.

I was just looking at the specifications for the 2007 G35 on the Nissan News website and I noticed the 6 CD in dash changer becomes a single CD in dash with a 9.5 GB music hard drive & a trunk 6 CD changer when the Nav is selected. I'm kinda bummed about this because I use my 6 CD changer on random in my Pathfinder all the time and the thought of having to stop & get into the trunk to load it doesn't sound very cool.

The upper glove box in my G35 sedan has the outer rubber/plastic surface delaminating from the actual glove box structure. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

i am currently looking into buying a 2006 g35x in virginia. i have been told by sales person that they will sell for invoice which is approximately $32,600. does this sound right? i tried to get this dealership to payoff the loan on my 2003 325i but they only offered me $15,500. i really would like to get one of these before end of year but feel my time is running out. i appreciate all responses. thanks

I'm in the market for a slightly used 06 or 05 G sedan but notice that prices range considerably not necessarily linked to mileage. Are there different (and 'preferred') pkgs that I should be looking for? Thanks!

I've had this wheel wobble sound on the front end of my 2004 6MT, that I can hear from 40 mph on, and in my ears, very audible at 60+.   I was initially told it was the tires, had them rotated and balanced, no change. Incidentally, I first really noticed it after my first rotation at 8000.   I waited it out, changing tire pressures, having tires rebalanced at an outside tire shop (2 different ones), and at 15K, another tire rotation, but sound still there.   At 22k, I had to bring the car in for early brake wear, suspension noise at slow speeds and bumps. Since there, I had them check the noise again, and though they addressed everything else (new front brakes and rotors, new pads rear, changed a compression rod), the wobble / thumping / vibration sound is still there. They checked the tires at my request before and now, but since they couldnt reproduce the sound, or identify it, they stop there.   I have the car, and am planning to take a ride with a tech, but would like to be more informed. Are there other areas that could be the culprit? Any other parts of the car, ie shocks, struts? I also read of loose bolts, areas that need to be rewelded?   I definitely feel a bit like drawing on straws because I cant seem to communicate this issue. I am concerned that this might be an indication of something big later, or worse, a safety issue now.   Can anyone shed some light? Ideas on what its cause? Alignment? Experiencing similar things? Any specific words I should use to communicate better? Anything? Thanks for any advice. Replying to: njjuliano (Feb 24, 2007 9:55 pm) Could it be a slightly bent or out of round rim? I had that. The dealer had a guy to fix it, they rebalanced and it's now perfect. I will, however, include that on the check list that I'm going to mention to the dealer.   I also have had the tires checked for belt shift, and he said no.   Thanks for the suggestions.   Also, I've read some promising threads (on another forum) about wheel bearings prematurely malfunctioning.
