I agree with hassmeister (Msg #48) that an Invinca-Sheild is a great idea. I had the 3M protective film put on a car after a new hood was put on and it still looks new after 6 years. We installed the standard kit from Invinca-Shield today. It looks great, but allow at least 2 hours and do it when you have patience. I had trouble with the hood piece and ended up having to trim some material in 2 places. |

| Does anyone know of a place that sells wheel well trim for the Envoy? I don't like the "unfinished" look of the wheel well. | |

A great site to check out is www.truckperformance.com you can search for parts by you vehicle type. Any one looking for performance or appearance parts will be pleased at the selection.

I know Husky makes front seat floor liners, second seat floor liners, third seat floor liners, and a cargo liner (covering only the cargo area from the 3rd row of seats back) for an 2003 Envoy XL. Does anyone know if someone makes a cargo mat covering the entire cargo area for when the 3rd row of seats are folded down?

rayder 1. If you are not going to tow, I would go with the I-6, better fuel economy. Check out the stats: I-6 275 hp, 275 ft lbs V-8 290 hp, 325 ft lbs So you are talking 15 hp and 50 ft lbs. Your call, is that amount of power increase worth the price difference to you? If so, the choice is an easy one. Just a thought for you. Mike |

Texamau1, My father is a GMC truck dealer. To my knowledge, there is no "Denali" package Envoy for 2003 or 2004, as I have seen the specs released to dealers so far. There will be some new options like, power adjustable pedals, navigation system etc. There are aftermarket Grilles you can buy that are very similar to Denali grilles, if you are speaking of an Envoy with a Denali appearnce. If I hear anything otherwise I will let you know. Mike |

Does anyone know if I can replace the existing Envoy exterior door handles with ones off of a Sierra or Yukon or something like that? Also - can a heated seat be added to the cloth seats as aftermarket? |
|
| Thanks for the info Mike, do you know when will the Envoy XL will have the Navigation? too bad GM missed this option, (they missed a sale to me) I bought the murano with nav instead.. But I'm still looking to get an SUV with 3 row seats and must have nav (we travel a lot). hopefully GM will have the NAV option before I have to buy another Nissan Pathfinder Armada. | |

The 2004 Envoys, which I think they start to order usually in August, will have the navigation system option. I have already seen it and it looks pretty cool. And by the way, shame on your GMC dealer. My Dad has been installing awesome navigation systems for people on their trucks for about 3 years now. |

| With the Xl go with the V8. With the added weight in the XL the inline 6 doesn't have the get up and go it has in the standard length. If you want power now get the V8! | |
