I got my 05 EX V6 with nav from David McDavid in Frisco. Their first quote was lower than the final quote from all the other Honda dealerships in Dallas. Had to do quite a bit of haggling on other fronts because I had a trade-in and got lots of options.

My local dealers have been offering $1000-$1200 under invoice for 2005's and around $600 over invoice for 2006's. This is working through the fleet/internet side and may require some minor negotiation.

where is everyone getting invoice for the '06s? Edmunds shows it as N/A, and I believe that Kbb also doesn't have it listed.

Wow! I brought home my car yesterday, what a cream puff! I ordered my car Labor Day weekend and was given an expected delivery date of 9/28. When the dealership called to tell me it was in yesterday I was thrilled! Sticker on my car was 29,850. I had them add wheel locks, premium floor mats and a trunk tray. I paid 28,650. I did purchase the HondaCare extended warranty 7 yr/ 100K miles with a $100 deductible for $1025 plus $349 for the Xzylon protection package. My dealership charged $200 for documentation and customer service charges, which I thought was a major ripoff. I am located in east Tennessee. I hope that this helps someone out there with their future purchase. By the way, this car really is such a treat. The wheels on this baby are awesome! We also own a 2001 Honda Accord that my 16 year old is now driving, we traded in our 2001 Odyseey on this car and have a Honda Ridgeline on order. We definitely are a Honda family!

You can get MSRP/Sticker price on vehicles at Honda.com on the Build Your Own Car. The accessory prices listed are approximate and may not include installation charges, however, the build your own car feature is pretty darm accurate for MSRP. The sticker on my car matches exactly to the window sticker that arrived on my car.

I hope that this helps.

Good deal on an '05 Accord LX Sedan by allfiredup

I went with my dad a few nights ago to look at new Accords. He's a shy, quiet kind of guy and doesn't like to negotiate. I went so he wouldn't get eaten alive by the salespeople.

We got there and he saw and fell in love with the new Civic Sedan. We drove a white EX with a sticker of $19,600. The best they would do on the price was $400 off sticker making it $19,200. They didn't have an LX in white or silver (only two colors he'd consider) so that wasn't an option to get the price down.

They had a silver '05 Accord LX Sedan parked on the curb with a sticker of $21,200. An hour later we drove it off the lot for $18,650 plus tax, tag and title. If you are at all interested in an '05 Accord, now is the perfect time to buy one.

Invoice prices for 2006's have not been "revealed" yet. However, it is a very good guess that they will be $250-$350 higher then the 2005 models, since Honda raised the prices up on all models by $350(I think, if it is more ,please somebody feel free to correct me).

So, it is simple:Whatever model you prefer, find a 2005 model invoice, add $300, and you are very close to 2006 models invoice price.

I just got the sticker and invoice prices on Edmunds. This board really helped me out in the past. Now.. Looking for the above Honda this weekend. What do you think would be the lowest price for this car? I really appreciate the opinions. I live in Long Island New York. Thanks!

shop it on the internet. get your best price ...do NOT go into the dealership. shop the best price over the phone with the internet sales person assigned from the dealer.

you will get the car for around $200 less than the best initial response.
