I have competitive quotes from a few dealers in the Westchester area for a new accord with Navi. Anyone have any recent buying experience with the following dealers: White Plains Honda Curry Honda Rushneck Honda Yonkers New Rochelle I know that there are few others in the area, so if you have had any experience with the above or others I would welcome your comments. Thanks

| I am interested in purchasing a Honda Accord EX V6 without Nav. 4 door in the Bay Area. Does anyone know what the best price is and where to get it? I got a quote from SF Honda for $24,675 which is about $500 above invoice. Recent threads in December 04 indicates that I might be able to get below invoice ($22,638 in Fremont). SF Salesman informed me the reason for that low price is because in Dec., Honda has a huge dealer incentive. Also heard from another salesman that there is a dealer incentive starting this week, don't know how much. Does anyone know? | |
| I went through cars direct & got a price of 19,584 +ttl. out the door price was 21,272. | |

Thanks for the comments. The lowest quotes are coming from Curry and I am expecting a lower one from White Plains. The New Rochelle dealer won't release quotes via email. I have yet to call. |

I just got quoted 21,924 incl destination fee by Wilde Honda of Waukesha, and 21990.00 by Planet Honda for 4cyl EX-L. This seems to be higher than people were getting here, since with TTL this would bring the deal above 23K for sure.

It seems like the deals are pretty good on Hondas these days. I need to keep my other car for a while yet, but am not averse to getting a good deal while I can. Anybody know if the dealer incentives, etc., are not likely to last?

My quess is the reason for the incentives was they were making the cars faster than people were buying them. When people start buying cars faster than they can make them, the incentives will stop. For all we know, that may happen this afternoon. |
