By the way purchase made at Vincel in ST LOuis, MO..ALl Inernet Sales folks for a week sat on invoice, but Vincel had options on the car that the others didnt, and he others wouldnt budge off invoice. Fair transaction and the dealer I bought from last time. I know sales are supposed to be down, but they were crankin em out yesterday when I wne in and today when I took delivery.

PSS--I drove (short test) the BMW 326 and Audi A4..nice cars , thought about leaing them, but I dont need a lable to impress...Pound for pound, dollar for dollar the EXL was a way better choice. I just didnt want to be like everyone else driving a Beemer...After I add the Wing and tinted windows...This will be MY car, not like everyone else's. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

Have you called Tempe and Mesa????

Showacase quoted me real high over the phone also on the LX, I think it was invoice or maybe even a bit over.

I have talking with both and they are both 500-600 blow invoice on an LX.

And that is over the phone, I bet there is a couple hundred more or some freebies waiting for when you walk with cash or as an easy finance qaulifier.

I am telling you, if you are dead set on an Accord we ought to try and bagain as a pair.

But my window is at the end of April.

I am just about to pull the trigger on a '05 Accord Coupe EX V6 Navi Automatic. Local dealer is quoting $24925 ... which I think is fine ... but I would like to get the 100K Honda warranty, and they're quoting $1400. What price are other people paying?

Where are the discounts in Texas? I am looking for a 2005 Accord EX-L-5-Speed and cannot even get a quote of invoice.

Anyone know of a dealer in Texas selling at or below invoice?

Thanks,

The v6 coupe with NAV and auto invoice is $26,560 including destination and there was already $500 in dealer money to help move the coupes. Honda has now put up to $600 (more, I suppose) in dealer money on all Accords and Civics. By my math that makes dealer cost $25,460. So your price is well below that - unless they are quoting you a price then planning on sticking the destination charge on top of that. Or maybe they are planning on making it up by overcharging you for the warranty?

You can buy HondaCare from any Honda dealer - and get a nice discount from a lot of them. This place (for example) is doing

http://www.curryhondacare.com/

$1,075 for the $0 deductible 7yr,100k plan and they e-mail you a discount code to take $85 more off. There are other discount HondaCare dealers on the web, so shop around.

Sedan EX-L 4cyl offered 22.1 before TTL is a good deal? Seems some have gone below 21k of an EX-L so I think I'll still shop some

Well, I bought a silver/black '05 Accord EX-L Coupe V6 with Navi. Dealer experience was the fastest of all my car experiences.

I got it for $24825, and and paid $1395 for the 7/100/$0 warranty. Originally they had quoted me $24925, but I asked for $100 of the warranty and they instead took it off the car price.

I know I didn't do as well as possible ($1050) for the warranty, but I wanted to get this done and over with.

No pressure to buy any mop-n-glow, etc. In and out in about 45 minutes.

I got it at the Fremont CA dealer, and can provide details if needed. All the other bay area dealers were about a grand more.

I love the car so far! (6 hours of ownership)

I just requested Internet quotes from Brown's Honda City (Glen Burnie, MD) & Landmark Honda (Alexandria, VA), the latter through carsdirect.com. My Internet quotes, respectively, are $17,795 & $17550; both are below invoice, & do not include TTL, document, & destination. Not a bad starting point for your inevitable dealer negotiations!
