Probably less now since the $0 - $600 FTD has been announced. In Milwaukee, Wilde Honda of Waukesha will do the same. If you need a link to their specific web sites, I can provide them but you can find them through Honda.com directly if you want to go that route. Given your location, I would attempt to deal through the Fremont California Honda dealership myself for the PZEV given it is much closer … I saw that this Fremont California dealerships name was “Autowest” when looking at the past posts we talked about a page or two ago. Good Luck Wayne R. Gerdes

When we bought Accords in the 90's, we offered about $100 over invoice on several occasions and were turned down. We would then walk out, and the salesman would not come after us. Therefore, we learned it would take at least $200 or $300 over invoice to buy an Accord, and we figured we would offer that much for a 2005. However, after hearing all of your experiences, we offered much less (invoice - $300 + tax + ttl) for an EX manual sedan yesterday, and, to our surprise, they accepted. That price also included wheel locks, mud flaps, pin stripes, and two additional keys (for a total of 5 keys). At first they did not accept our price, so we left and started to get in our car. The salesman then came out and said they would accept it. The salesman was extremely nice during the whole process, but the sales manager didn't seem to like us at all. All of your postings probably saved us $600 or more, so THANK YOU ALL very much. By the way, we live in Fairfax County, Virginia. One last thing: we love the car. It is much, much nicer than our 1999 model.

Take this for whatever you wish: According to O'Hare Honda, "nobody in the Midwest will honor Grand Honda's prices". The O'Hare internet manager told me Grand is being sued for buying damaged vehicles from Honda and selling them without notice. He told me that law requires disclosure for damage over $600, and that Grand is selling damaged cars over and under that number without notice. He further stated that one will not find a deal on an EX-L for 21,000 anywhere. Fact or fiction, who knows? ev12
