Several dealers in SoCal are offering 60 month, zero pct financing through Honda Finance. Should I expect this will result in a higher price?

Yes and No. You can still get a deal close to invoice and obtain the 100% financing saving you at least $1500 on financing charges. However, if the dealer was getting an incentive to sell the cars for less the price could be well below invoice. The 0% financing is just a traffic builder because most people with very good credit aren't going to qualify unless they put a large down payment. The Honda Dealer in Fresno advertised 0% financing with 0 down for 60 months but dropped the zero down last weekend. I bet they got a bunch of pissed off people with very good credit that couldn't qualify or were upside down in their trade still expecting to get out of them without cash.

My last post was deleted because of contact info, so here is the corrected copy.

Dealer recommendations in the Northern VA DC area based on quotes for a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 w/Nav received over the Thanksgiving Holiday are:

Criswell Honda, Germantown, MD
27,687.00 out the door price until 30 Nov

Hendrick Honda, Woodbridge VA
27,900 out the door price

Pohanka Honda, Fredericksburg VA
27,854.11 out the door price

Also please see my post on my 27 Nov purchase of a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 w/nav for 27470.98 out the door breakdown.

Hope this helps,
Rodndor

V6 versus 4 by gary4x4

Does anyone have experience or an opinion regarding the V6 versus the 4 cylinder engine offered with the Accord. I know there is a 3 mpg difference in gas mileage and a significantly higher starting price but is is worth it? Pros and cons? Thanks

The insurance for the V6 is about $40 more a year with my current insurance company.
