How much are people putting down and how many months financing are you getting approved for? I am beginning to wonder if I was not preapproved because I applied for 100% financing with no money down at 60 months? I could handle enough down to cover tax and license fees right now ($2000) and 36 month payments at $600 per month. Honda assumes that you are going to purchase an Accord at their retail price when you try and figure payments on their website. Their is little risks if someone purchases an Accord and finances only the invoice amount and has very good credit. Honda doesn't offer you the choice of a rebate or special financing like Nissan and Toyota and many other car companies!

We got approval for 60 months, but did put down a chunk of change--$7000.

Honda Announces Accord Recall by jag6

Hey everybody, Honda announced a recall on some 2004 and 2005 Accords due to a potential for the driver's front airbag to tear upon deployment. Apparently it will be pretty easy to fix. Whether or not the vehicle is under the recall depends on where it was manufactured (for that they need the VIN). Anyway, could come in handy as a bargaining chip.

Nothing to do with a "bargaining chip" by isellhondas

Any affected car will be fixed before it's delivered. Honda discovered this problem on their own and quickly jumped to action. I like that.

I'm from Worcester, MA. I'm about 40 miles outside of Boston, and within a 30 minute drive there's like 10 or 15 dealers. This past summer I bought a 2004 EX Auto Coupe w/SAB for $19800 before tax from Bernardi Honda. I found them to be really easy to deal with. Plus, they're closer than Boch, they're located in Natick, MA. My advice is have them match your Boch quote. And don't be afraid to walk away and tell them to get back to you when they decide whether or not to match it. That's what I did to get my price. Hope this helps.

Perhaps not a bargaining chip, but: people need to be aware of it. My dealer didn't mention it and didn't seem to know whether my newly purchased car (how long had it been sitting around on the lot?) was under the recall (turns out it wasn't). He definitely knew about the recall. In short, they sold me a car they knew *might* be under a recall without telling me about it. Also, if I buy a 2004 model, no chance it was fixed when it was delivered. Buyer beware.

Carsdirect lowers prices on Accords in California by clovisguy

I just happened to check Honda Accord prices on carsdirect.com today and they are lower then before, at least for the California area. Maybe, because it is getting close to the end of the month and the dealers need to increase sales?

EX V6 Leather in Ellicott City, MD by fuzzyping

Just picked up a graphite 2005 EX V6 with Leather at O'Donnell Honda in Ellicott City, MD. This is our 2nd Accord from this dealership (1st was a '98 LX), and we continue to be very happy with their deals and service. We got it for invoice ($24,024), and got almost $2k more for our '01 New Passat than anyone else would offer (hard to sell right now).

If anyone is in the MD region looking for a Honda, I highly recommend this dealer. In fact, we drove 40 miles out of our way (Heritage Honda is in our hometown) to buy from O'Donnell. I love it!

Honda Accord 4cyl auto in Cleveland, OH by blue97

What would be a reasonable price in the Cleveland, OH area? Are there any dealers who provide good prices over the Internet? Couple of years ago, I tried to get quotes over the Internet from some dealers in CA. All I got was MSRP.

Thanks in advance.
